To add a customer using barcode scanning from a driver's license, follow these steps:


1. Access barcode input: Click on the barcode icon in the customer form to open the barcode input field.
2. Scan the barcode: Use a barcode reader or a mobile app to scan the driver's license barcode.
  • For Mac and iPhone users: If both devices are connected, you can scan with the mobile app and paste the data directly into your Mac.
  • For other users: Use your mobile phone to scan the driver's license barcode, then share the data with your computer or add the customer directly from your mobile device.

3. Input and submit: After scanning, enter the barcode value in the input field and click "Submit." The system will automatically populate the fields with the information from the driver's license. Review the details and click "Save" to store the customer information.
